2. This is my own home solution to help get rid of fleas. It works for me, but I will not guarantee that it works for everyone. In the room where your fleas are, place a small, white dish towell or a bath towell. Put a bowl filled with soapy water on top of the towell and let it stay for 24 hours. The next morning count the fleas that have collected in the bowl of water. This is no solution to get rid of fleas, or to replace your exterminator, but it is interesting to see how many fleas are attracted to water.
